" Relay writing spin around the globe "
I was excited and bid adios to my family.
I had been feeling bored and neglected. My husband working late every night. My two daughters were off to college , leaving me feeling I needed something more in my life.
It was like something or someone was whispering in my ear, " Go south, get out of this cold climate for a few days."
I pulled into a service station to fill up, and was surprised when this tall good looking man approached, asking, " Are you driving south? " I responded by saying, " Yes I am. " He then asked if he could hitch a ride. I was a little apprehensive but thought the company would be nice, plus he was soo good looking.
We introduced ourselves. He told me his name was Tom. I was thinking as i drove along, " I bet he wouldn't be working late every night...Boy he is handsome!
We had traveled around six hours. The sun was shining brightly. I was in heaven. About that time, Tom very calmly told me that he lived in the next little town just off the interstate. I was totally surprised. He then said to take this exit, he lived on seventh street.
I pulled up in front of this lovely little white cottage. He reached over and honked the horn, to my surprise out came a beautiful young woman and three little girls, yelling Daddy, Daddy. He put his arms around her. The girls were wrapped around his legs. He said, " Ruby meet my wife and daughters." When i finally found my voice, I said, " Hello, so happy to meet you."
They all looked so happy, all of a sudden, I was overwhelmed with gladness, knowing I had helped return him to his family.
Funny how events can happen to change attitudes from boredom to thankfulness. All I could think about was turning my car around and heading north.
Excitement mounting at the prospect of going home.

My computer has been down all day. I want to explain this write..It started with, " Relay writing spin around the globe " I linked on to Ruchira. I had to start my story with the last line she wrote, which was, " I was excited and bid adios to my family " I ended my story with, " Excitement mounting at the prospect of going home. " Now, someone can write a story using my last line. I think the idea is fun. Before i could explain what we were doing my computer went out. I hope someone will continue with this.. but circumstances made her turn around
he worked late, but he was her clown
now with a smile, she turned in her frown

Mck, This was such a mess up. There was quite a few stories linked, each starting another, using the last line written. I followed Ruchira, who ended her story with the line, " I was excited and bid adios to my family. I ended my story with the line, " Excitement mounting at the prospect of going home. " The next writer is supposed to write a story starting with my last line. I was supposed to link on with all of the other stories, but i couldn't get it to link..What a fricken mess HaHa..You can see the others by going to Ruchira's page..Is this as clear as mud?????? I was finally able to link my story in Ruchira's comment section..HaHa..I bet all the other writers are scratching their heads..I don't think they will invite me to join in any time soon..HaHa Thank's for the poem..I love it...

Hello Always. If I was going to link a few hubs to this one first I would copy the link at the top of the page on each hub to a word document. Then go to edit this hub. Up at the right are the capsules location. Click on lick. I am pretty sure you can copy and paste all the addresses into one capsule.

I can so easily see this as true. It is too bad we cannot pick up hitchhikers anymore (although I do sometimes). Just to think of what we could learn makes me feel excited. Great story always exploring.
