A lily found among the weeds-Poetry
When we see a dying lily we act by giving it water and loving hands-on care.
I looked and saw a lily in a deep, obscure valley surrounded by brown weeds with a deadly look of despair
I noticed the area was void of beauty and the drooping, lonely lily was in need of emergency hands-on care
I fed and watered the lily until it stood quite proud and tall
It rose above the weeds. Buds opened. Then a gentle breeze scattered seeds cascading toward a fresh flowing waterfall
A refreshing cleansing consumed my thoughts as I watched the water trickle into a crystal clear blue stream
Vividly realizing I'd witnessed the birth of beauty in this forsaken summer scene.
